Result

When our volunteers arrived, the gardens were overgrown with weeds and dead plants. This project works well for ALC- the beautiful results are enjoyed by volunteers, residents, and neighbors; giving those living at home beautiful surroundings, helping the property fit in with other neighborhood homes, giving volunteers a chance to help those less fortunate in out community.

Special Points of Interest

Have one person work with both clients & volunteers to make sure they have the same expectations.

Make sure volunteers have an understanding of why the project is important.

Make sure that all necessary supplies are on site the day of the event.
