9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance - September 11, 2012

The 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance provides a positive and forward-looking way for Americans and others to forever honor and remember the 9/11 victims, survivors, and the many that rose in service in response to the 9/11 tragedy, including first responders, recovery workers, volunteers, public safety officers and members of our military.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service - Monday, January 21, 2013

The MLK Day of Service is a way to transform Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and teachings into community action that helps solve social problems. That service may meet a tangible need, or it may meet a need of the spirit. On this day, Americans of every age and background celebrate Dr. King through service projects that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers, and create solutions.
